Not that long ago, less than a decade, we still ran desktop boxes as our main computing machines. Then laptops got cheap and powerful enough to handle that everyday household stuff. I don't think we even have a desktop box around anymore.

My 2006 Desktop computer still lives. I don't use it, but it's there, alive and well. Running Windows XP x64.

And I still use the same speakers from 2001.
